Sustainable Procurement
The Procurement has a significant participation in the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), including as a promoter of good practices. There is a strategic interest of the Brazilian Government to encourage sustainable procurement processes.
The processes of acquisition and procurement of products and services for organization of Rio+20 included sustainability criteria, such as the purchase of energy-efficient equipment, certified wood and recycled materials.
