Social Organization and Public Policies for Reducing Infant Mortality Due to Sickle Cell Anemia
The Sickle Cell Anemia Association of the State of São Paulo is a
nonprofit organization made up of friends, families, and sickle-cell
patients. Its goals include social mobilization of patients so that they
can develop their individual and collective potential.
