Brazil without Poverty
“Brazil
without Poverty” is a social program aimed at Brazilians whose
family income is only up to R$ 70 per person. According to the 2010
Census — conducted by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and
Statistics (IBGE) — 16.2 million Brazilians are in such a
situation. The objective of “Brazil without Poverty” is to
improve the income and the well-being of vulnerable populations.
Unattended families in harsh situations will be tracked and included in
a net of social programs according to their needs.
Partner institutions:
States, municipalities, public and private companies, and organizations from the civil society.
