Center for Recovery and Nutritional Education
CREN was created in 1993 with the purpose of identifying problems of
food and nutritional safety as well as preventing and fighting
malnutrition and infant mortality. It seeks to disseminate an adequate
concept of health, at the same time developing activities that promote
health, assist and educate people, and create a relationship with other
organizations. The center’s efforts are aimed at families with children
under the age of 10 living in situations of high risk and suffering from
primary malnutrition.
