National Plan of Sustainable Development and Quality of Life of Venda Nova do Imigrante
The practice had the main goal of reversing the situation of
economic dependency from the single-crop of coffee, which was cultivated
without the slightest quality standard and caused the depletion of the natural
resources, along with rural exodus and the ensuing social exclusion.
Through a broad participation by the associations, community councils and the interaction articulated by the Municipal Council of Rural Development – CONDERUR, and with the resources of the National Program of Support to the Development of Family-Based Agriculture – PRONAF, the goals and strategies have been drawn to expand the work options for the local population”.
