40 families formed the Cascata settlement
in the area of a farm expropriated by the National Institute of
Colonization
and Agrarian Reform (INCRA), starting an alternative process of
coexistence and innovative approach to agriculture of subsistence, a
better understand of the the concepts and contents of cooperative work
and sustainable management
of the natural resources played a major role in this process. These
