The house and the river
The project transforms the city of Curitiba
The city of Curitiba has experienced a transformation in its own life
and in the reality of several communities with the implementation of the programs
Pró-Moradia (‘Pro-Housing’) and PPI Favela (‘Pilot Investment Projects
in Slums’).
Through joint actions aimed at housing, the environment and social work, which have benefited from participation of the dwellers themselves, popular houses have been built, along with urbanization works and sets of leisure equipment.
