Family-School Partnership Program
Taboão da Serra strengthens the self-esteem and motivation of teachers, parents and students.
The Family-School Partnership Program was created
because of unsatisfactory levels of school dropouts and grade repetition in
Taboão da Serra. The program seeks to encourage students to stay in school;
mitigate the social gap between educators and learners; and also strengthen the
self-esteem and motivation of teachers, parents and students, which can have an
impact not only on teaching, but also on learning.
