Strategies for Increasing Portuguese and Mathematics Proficiency in Elementary Education
After
studies from 2001 and 2002 showed that the children of Sobral were
having serious learning problems, the municipal government devised a
set of action plans to improve the quality of the municipal school
system, with special attention to children’s literacy.
