Belo Horizonte Holding Hands against AIDS
Objetive is to lower the incidence of the disease
The Belo Horizonte Holding Hands against AIDS Program, launched at
the end of 2000, is a network of partners made up of different segments
of society. Its goal is to lower the incidence of the disease and combat
sexual prejudice and the stigma of being HIV positive.

Municipal Government of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais
Partnering institutions:
Municipal STD/AIDS
Coordination Board (Coordenação Municipal de DST/Aids), Municipal
Secretariat of Health (Secretaria Municipal de Saúde).
