Organic Waste Removal and Ecocitizenship
The Food Program Organic
Waste Removal and Ecocitizenship is part of the Food Bank program. It is a
daring, pioneering, and innovative initiative in Brazil, designed to fight both
hunger and waste. It consists of a system that collects, processes, and
distributes perishable goods that, for whatever reason, did not make it to
supermarkets or farmers markets, but are still fit for human consumption.
