Brazil: Legislation draws mixed results
While Brazil is a powerhouse in iron ore, production of the mineral has increased little in the past few years. The reason for this, according to Vale, the country’s biggest miner and the world’s largest exporter of iron ore, has nothing to do with the nation’s enormous reserves.
